Can you use a 3 wheeled motorcycle in the wintertime in the Upper Midwest?
I live in Minnesota and I'm on a fixed income. I'm looking for a more affordable alternative to driving a car, since it's going to cost too much for me to even drive my 40MPG Geo Metro this upcoming year. I was hoping I could forgo the Geo Metro and buy a 3 wheeled scooter or motorcycle, with a displacement of at least 250-400 CCs of displacement so I can be somewhat safe on the highway but not have a bike that's too big for me to control. Would a 3 wheeler be at least somewhat safe in the wintertime? If so, would a tadpole be a better option than a delta? And yes, I will be well insulated since I have a snowmobile suit, heated snowmobile gloves, heated snowmobile boots and a snowmobile breath displacing helmet, all which can keep you warm up to -50F. No snarky answers, please.
