are you just asking about ar15/m16 nomenclature? if you are then you need to add , Bolt, Carrier, Firing Pin, Charge Handle, Ejector, Magazine, I hope this helps. Learning early is not considered easier just smarter and more dedicated! I would also suggest getting ahold of a CG bluejacket manual. It's the equivilent to the Navy version. Also study the CFR's on the Homeland Security Act.
