How can you make people see that they can't love another person until they develope a love affair with God?

I love you! we say it so cliche like. God be His Word has declared that He is Love. yet, we as humans say that our love for anther dies. HOW CAN YOU KILL GOD? It's impossible! we have replaced the reality of true God founded Love with fleshly lust??
