The sims 3 gen. takes too long to load...?

so i downloaded TS3G and the installation went fine, no errors, etc... then i opened a new town but when the loading bar reaches up to near full, it stopped progressing but it was still running. i waited for almost 30 mins and it never gets full. i have only about 10 CCs installed and deleted it. but that didnt fixed it. help?
